Kunos Reveals the “Tripl3” Pack for Assetto Corsa, Releases August 26th

Assetto Corsa Tripl3 Pack Ferrari 488 GTB

With Assetto Corsa’s console debut imminent, Kunos have taken it upon themselves to reveal the Triple3 Pack for PC, set to compliment the game’s European release in two weeks time.

First revealed in the final Developer Diary entry discussing the future prospects of the racer, the contents of the upcoming car pack will be highlighted by the Ferrari FXX K that has seen its fair share of showtime in console build demos, in addition to the likes of the 488 GTB that will serve as the opposite to the GT3 machine introduced in the Red Pack, and the lesser-known Praga R1 from the Czech Republic.

It doesn’t end there, while the Tripl3 Pack is due to be released alongside the 1.8 update for PC users, it will be accompanied by one further inclusion, the Audi A1 S1 Quattro as free bonus content. Marco Massarutto has posted in-game previews of the upcoming cars to his Facebook page.

Two weeks are all that remains until console racers can finally experience the game for themselves. You’ll want to stay tuned for more on Assetto Corsa over the coming days leading up to its release; who knows what else Kunos has in store.

So i asked and it seems the fxx k and praga are free on consoles. the other two are in pre-order bonuses but this is a complete mess isnt it.

The FXX K better be free on consoles. It’s on the G-D cover!! Who puts something on the cover that isn’t in the game they’re selling?! I wish they’d just give console users every single thing, up until release day, for free. Then you can start charging for DLC afterwards.

I’ll never play this game on console. I will always be a PC guy, however, I want to see console game sales crushing the competition. Give buyers as much reason to purchase as possible. Gee….

The amount of confusion around this early DLC is completely unnecessary and is being poorly handled so far. I hope it doesn’t affect the sales or general acceptance of the game but won’t be surprised if the confusion erupts into all out anarchy after the game is released…lol.

Somebody somewhere told me that it will be in a DLC car pack. The Ferrari LaFerarri and the Ferrari FXX K are 2 of my favorite cars right now. That is why I will buy this game just for those 2 cars.

Question about the Ferrari FXX K, why does it have a number 10 on the side doors? I am asking because I have never seen it in any races like the LeMans or GT races out there. Or is putting the number 10 to make it look cool? I understand that it is made for track purposes and I guess putting a number 10 making you think it is a race car. LOL!

Same, while the p1 is my current favorite car, Ferrari is my overall favorite car company and the fxx k is right up there with the p1 for me

    3. ExoticMachines

Ah yes, the P1 is also a very nice looking car. I use to like Lamborghini but after the Aventador model, Lamborghini design styles are going down hill for me. Their cars are stating to look like the Batman Mobile. They need to get back to the Lamborghini heritage and look at why the Countach was such a great success and even today, the Countach still look spectacular today.

I’m not entirely sure what caused the confusion, but I’ve cleared up the language to better reflect this car pack is for PC users.

I’m going to believe that the cover car of the console version isn’t included in the console version but as DLC? FXX K that is. Not very believable.

Overall I can’t wait, and when you look at the support for AC that’s already announced we are going to have a very long lasting game

Same boat as you Nielsen. I’m also confused since Amazon are offering the Performance pack which includes the 488 GTB along with the C7 Stingray and R8 V10 plus. Unless you need to buy this pack separately on PS store and then if you have the GTB already it just overwrites it or something….

  5. Nielsen

What’s the direct source of this news? The Ferrari 488 GTB is being sold as part of the Performance Pack bundled with some pre-orders of the console version. It doesn’t make sense.
